This foot represents a unique Japanese story. Japanese people walk aroundtheir house without shoes on. So they sometimes hit their pinky toe againstthe corner of a piece of furniture in the room. Someone declared, "I wantto change the pain to laughter when I hit my foot on the corner offurniture". So the judges and the craftsman decided to make it. It reallyhurts, but enjoy the laughter. This work was produced by Karakuri Creation Group’s craftsmen, from a selected idea of “7th Karakuri Puzzle Idea Contest”.
