You can see a spade on the box. But, you might think a heart mark is more suitable for “fortune” rather than spade. The motion is simple. But the mechanism is complex. The designer had been a trick box crafts man, not a Yosegi (inlay) craftsman. But this time,he tried Yosegi works for the first time. He was given advice by Yoshiyuki Ninomiya.
