Notice About Imitations

Recently, it was found that products that are very similar to the products designed by our Karakuri Creation Group in 2008, are being sold online. We have one of those imitation products and can confirm that they are similar in design and that they use the exact same mechanism. These are fake copies of our craftsman’s products and permission was not granted for them to be made nor sold. At the present time, we do not know who is responsible for making them. We contacted those shops and asked them to discontinue the manufacturing and sale of the imitations. As a result, some shops stopped selling them but other shops are still posting them online, despite our repeated requests and without any reason as to why they continue to do so. The deadline for removing the items has already passed, yet there has been no change.

Due to the circumstances above, not knowing when or if this will improve, we have published this issue here to inform all of you. We hope this problem is resolved as soon as possible. In addition, we will attach materials related to this.
