@ <Karakuri-Puzzle Idea Contest from Odawara Hakone Association of "Karakuri Puzzle" and throughout Japan>

This area has had a history of Karakuri for more than 100 years.
Because of that, various works were made for many years, and have been favorites among many people.
It is this local industry, together with "Odawara Hakone Association of "Karakuri Puzzle" and throughout Japan", which pays attention to the mechanisms in the puzzles. This deepens the culture, as we try to plan the spread of interest in these puzzles, and compete in puzzle festivals. The goal of The Karakuri puzzle idea contest was to have a Karakuri puzzle which encouraged all Japanese to "think about an idea". This contest was held for the first time in 2009.
There were many contest applications from all over Japan.
A local craftsman made his production in consultation with a designer. The craftsman commented, "It was good to be able to make such pleasant work".

HAKONE
CO-10-4

This was a bold and unique idea. As the mountain moves the mirror image of Mt. Fuji appears on the surface of the lake.
Therefore, this represents a 3-D model of Hakone or, "Diorama of Hakone".
This product uses many of the same ideas and techniques that Ifve used in chest making so far.
The final product turned out to be a fun Karakuri box.

This work was produced by Karakuri Creation Groupfs craftsmen,

Trumpet
CO-11-3

Trumpet fingering and Karakuri are combined in this item. In the proposal, there was only a trumpet. But a case was added to make a full-scale mechanism. Solve the Karakuri and open the drawer that is in the case. There are only 3 buttons that can be operated. The mechanics of the trumpet that can make all sounds with just those 3 buttons is amazing and is like a puzzle. There is no actual sound. But, try this item as you actually play trumpet on the scale.
